wahhh. super tired. haha. since my TEP, EMRS, started, i've been really busy!

anyway, today was our 1st mini roadshow!!! it was fun!! but tiring too. haha. it was fun being the organisers. haha. imagine ehk. we just met on Monday with mostly new people who are also from EMRS. we were strangers when we first met on Monday. everybody was quiet & shy.. alahai... hahaha. on our 1st team meeting on Monday, we were supposed to exchange our numbers with our team members & all were quiet. imagine that larhh. everyone was shy2. hahaha. action shy only... 1st day what. hahaha. i was the one who broke the ice. hehe. well, im proud of that. LOL. im not bragging ok. LOL XD. ok so somehow from there, we were able to talk to each other with ease already. LOL. i really don't know what happened. haha.

ok. now really imagine ehk. we were just introduced to our team members on Monday. & we're supposed to plan, organise, prepare & basically do everything to make the mini roadshow happen today!!! that was a record for me! i've never just met someone just a few days ago & suddenly became friends & then work together to make something as big as a roadshow happen! before today, i wouldn't have thought that would be possible! but look at us now! we've done it! WOW. powerrr uhh! what an achievement! =)

but i gotta say though... our team wasn't as organised as the other teams. i've watched a few of the teams prepare their stuffs for the big day & how they cooperate & work together as a team. & they're definitely better than us! my team has gotta learn from this & start improving! coz we've a lot more roadshows & events we have to organise in the 8 weeks to come! & what's interesting is that we have to organise a National Day roadshow on our very last day of our attachment at EMRS! im really looking forward to that! it sounds interesting! haha. actually all the roadshows the lecturers told us about seem interesting to me & i can't wait to be part of that! u know... i feel lucky to be in EMRS for my 1st TEP stopover after Class-ical. haha. coz it's fun rather than getting like BSU for example. haha. i've heard from friends that BSU's boring. haha. ooops. pardon me. hehh.

so anyway... we had to start setting up our booth at the Fast Food Canteen at 9.15am already. we had some troubles though. apparently, some of our team members weren't clear of what to do. & that's what i called "not organised enough". we really have gotta improve on that. we can't afford to be having problems that we had today for our future roadshows. & what's more... today's was just a MINI roadshow. what if it was a MEGA roadshow??? like the National Day one we're having on 8th August. hhmm.... k so anyway, back to today... we were given a sales target for each team & my group's was $150. small amount due to term break currently. but it was quite tough for my team to reach it coz my team was assigned to Cheers. as in we took goods from Cheers & we're selling their stuff. so the goods are cheap as in small amounts. so it means we have to sell BIG QUANTITY in order to reach our sales target. i was doing Mobile Selling just now. it was fun! we got to interact with customers. haha. it was more like Personal Selling. haha. coz we had to approach our customers instead of them coming to us. get it? hah. in the end, after everything was over (after packing all the unsold goods, tables, logistics stuffs, etc...), we found out we almost reach our target but not yet. almost. we even bought some of our goods. LOL. u knwo some people just ignored us when we approached them; which was pretty mean to me. at least take the flyers larhh. or maybe at least LISTEN to what we gonna say rather than just walk off.

k enough of what happened just now. tmr morning have to start with our AAC for presentation on Monday. & then at 1.30pm, have to set off for Suntec City for the IT show. we're having a field trip there. basically i think we have to learn how they display their goods, how they present themselves to customers, how they manage & run the whole show & all that. gonna be interesting i hope. haha.
