Buat salah ada hukum, Saya ucapkan Asalamu'alaikum! haha. i decided to start off my blog post with a malay poem or in malay, 'pantun'. itulah namanya pantun dua kerat! haha. hhmm.. i was thinking & i thought why not i start off my blog posts frm now on with a pantun?! kewl, ehk? haha.
so anyways, today was spent at Woodlands Regional Library auditorium. rmb i told u b4 abt da Pesta Pantun 2007 a.k.a. Malay Poetry Competition 2007 organised by NUS? yupps. so today was da finals between Millenia Institute, Yishun JC & Innova JC. Innova was da defending champions for last yr's competition but this yr, they weren't dat gd luhh.. Millenia & Yishun were really spontaneous!! they were really fast in answering da poems & they were humorous too! ahaha. it was a really tough fight between Millenia & Yishun arhz... both were really gd.. hhmm.. so after da finals which ended arnd 2.30pm, we all had a short break & food & drinks were provided outside da auditorium. we came back in at 3pm. Suratman Markasan gave a small speech. know him? he's a famous malay author who writes novels & stuff. next, was da prize presentation to all participants of Pesta Pantun 2007, including us[S.A.S.S.--me, Anum, Shahidah & Syakira]. so we had to go on stage to receive our prize--which consists of a certificate of participation & a cd of poems i think. of coz we didnt get any trophy coz we didnt win. ahaha.
so guess who won da poetry competition?? Yishun JC!!! whoohoo! haha. they were really gd arhz & funny. hoho. Millenia Institute got 2nd & Innova got 3rd. as predicted by me. LOL. after da prize presentation, Djamal Tukimin recited a few of his poems to us. i was kinda amazed by his poems & da way he recited them. ohh & btw, Djamal Tukimin is a famous malay poet if u didnt know..
by da time i reached home, it was alr 5.30pm. was so tired. bathed, watched tv, fed my beloved fishes, ate dinner which was pizza, watched da news, rested while listening to mp3, go online & here i am blogging!! haha. kk. there's PE tmr. haishh. & we have to act in a drama for H1 malay tmr. my grp, S.A.S.S., has finally decided to act out da drama 'Bawang Puteh Bawang Merah'. im gonna act as da bad mother of Bawang Merah. *evil laughter*
